Deep Heat Jacket

Built for high altitude and extreme cold conditions, the Deep Heat Jacket combines high quality water resistant fluorocarbon-free HyperDRY™ 800+ fill power goose down and a unique PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO with DIAMOND FUSE outer shell fabric to create a supremely technical and warm down jacket. Designed for winter mountaineering the Deep Heat Jacket is loaded with features including an adjustable helmet compatible hood, two-way front zipper, three external pockets, two internal mesh drop-in pockets, and its own waterproof dry bag.

CONSTRUCTION

• PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO with DIAMOND FUSE is highly water resistant and uses unique diamond shaped nylon yarns and an optimum thread count to create a fabric which has an increased resistance to snagging and abrasion
• 300g of high quality 90/10 Allied Feather & Down Titanium water resistant fluorocarbon-free HyperDRY™ ECO goose down at 800+ fill power, certified non live plucked and non force fed
• Boxwall construction in body and arms provides superior warmth and eliminates cold spots 
• Durable Water Repellency (DWR) for effective water shedding
• Lined with PEAQ Down fabric which is supremely comfortable next to the skin, highly breathable and fast drying

• Designed for cold weather and high altitude alpine climbing and belaying 
• Slightly larger chest and bicep dimensions allow for winter layering

HOOD CONFIGURATION

• Fully adjustable insulated climbing helmet compatible hood 
• Adjustable face aperture with external cord exits for quick adjustment
• Rear volume compression for a close fit around head or helmet
• Stiffened hood peak gives stability and wired edge allows adjustability
• Internal down baffled face aperture cinches close to face to maximise warmth and prevent heat loss
• Internal loop and tab on rear allows hood to be rolled down and stowed away whilst not in use in windy conditions

POCKET CONFIGURATION

• Two deep A-line hand-warmer pockets positioned clear of a backpack hip belt or climbing harness 
• Deep chest pocket on left hand side can fit a map or guide book
• External easy sliding YKK matte AQUAGUARD® VISLON® zips for use in icy conditions 
• U-shaped pulls for use with gloves or mitts and zipper garages to prevent water ingress
• Two large internal mesh drop pockets

CENTRE FRONT ZIP

• Full length two way YKK matte AQUAGUARD® VISLON® front zip to prevent water ingress and for ease of use with a backpack or climbing harness

CUFF AND SLEEVES CONFIGURATION
